This residential project was designed by LID INTERIOR, Interior Designers & Decorators in Kolkata, is a stunning look at modern design. The home has been furnished in simple and elegant décor, which inspires a feeling of peace. The white and off-white interiors, use of natural materials in the design and the oneness of the entire interior décor are quite impressive. So let’s take a tour!
The softly lit entryway is the perfect preamble to what the beautiful home has in store for us. The tiled walkway is flanked by wooden storage cabinets on one side and two rustic looking lamps.
The beautiful entrance gives way to a beautiful wooden swing in the centre. The plants inside add a touch of natural beauty to the otherwise manmade room.
The living room
On the other side of the beautiful swing is the elegant living room. There is a set of sofas, with golden, black and white throw pillows looks even more stylish. A wooden TV wall has been designed to complement the rest of the room.
The sere design in the entrance has a water wall, with indoor plants a status of Buddha. This inspires a feeling of peace and almost replicates a Zen garden.
The dining area
The use of wood in the house is done extensively, but in unique ways. Here, the designers have created a ceiling design using wooden beams. The lamps hanging in between the rafters create an illuminated space.
The elegant kitchen design is also quite impressive. It is a small space but the kitchen unit has been laid out in a way that offers maximum working space. The use of wood and a grey granite platform create a wonderful contrast.
The kid’s room
The kid’s room is fun and colourful, but still keeps up with the wooden theme. There are two study tables, two beds and a wall filled with paintings.
The main bedroom
The main bedroom is laid out to offer maximum comfort. The main bed rests on a wooden frame. There is a comfortable armchair and comfortable seating area by the windows, which have similar upholstery.
On the other side
The other side of the bedroom shows the bathroom, which has a wooden exterior and a wooden door. The back painted glass wall has space for the wall-mounted TV. The wooden cabinets below the TV are accessible and convenient for storage.
The top view
The top view of the house shows us the layout of the entire house. The multiple bedrooms are all visible here, with the plan showing an open layout in the living room, kitchen and dining area.
We end our home tour today with the stunning terrace that offers an even better view. The terrace has lots of plants spread throughout the area. The wooden style benches offer the perfect spot to soak in some sun and enjoy the view.
